The deadline for reporting your OSHA 300 for 2018 is March 2, 2019. The deadline for 2018 was July 1; however, beginning this year, the deadline is, and will remain, March 2nd.
One significant change for 2019 is those establishments having 250 or more employees are no longer required to report data on forms 300 and 301. Like their smaller counterparts, these employers will be required to report only the information on the OSHA 300A.
Remember, not all employers are required to report injury and illness data. You are only required to report if:
- Your industry is found on the Non-Mandatory Appendix A to Subpart B — Partially Exempt Industries; and
- Your establishment (not company employment) had at least 20 workers on any calendar day during 2018.
