HEALTHCARE SALES PROFESSIONAL – MORRISVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA
- The EI Group, Inc. (EI) is searching for a Health Care Sales Professional (HCSP) with experience in occupational health and safety. The focus of the HCSP’s business development efforts will be to promote the EI Group’s expertise in the identification, monitoring and exposure control of medical workers and health care professionals to pathogens (nosocomial infections) and physical contaminants in health care settings.
Primary sales targets will be hospitals, extended stay rehabilitation facilities and long-term care providers. Secondary targets will be occupational health operations in industry, municipalities, and county government. The successful candidate will be charged with promoting EI’s services in occupational health & safety and industrial hygiene. This position requires an entrepreneurial initiative and long-term focus to continue the nationwide expansion of The EI Group into the health care sector.

EI Healthcare Consulting/Training Services
Respirator fit testing and medical clearance for respirator use (online via RespiratorAssessor or RA) for medical professionals and health care support staff.
Program development, implementation, and ongoing support for managing employee health; Occupational Health Nurse staffing; COVID-19 employee screening, including questionnaire administration, infrared temperature screening and rapid antigen testing. Provide instruction in First Aid/CPR and BBP. Assist in establishing health care fairs for medical staff. Assist in implementation of corporate wellness initiatives for health care clients.
Industrial Hygiene Evaluation and Control
Includes the assessment of indoor air quality, exposure monitoring for anesthetic waste gases, ethylene oxide and radiation. Control of pathogen transmission (nosocomial infection control) between patients and medical staff.
Comprehensive OSHA compliance and training, with emphasis on medical support staff ergonomics (proper patient lifting techniques). General commercial building safety compliance and training, including electrical safety, fire safety and emergency evacuation. HAZCOM compliance and medical waste and hazardous materials management. Injury management and accident recordkeeping.
Hazardous Building Materials Management
Identification of hazardous building materials, with focus on identifying and managing asbestos containing building materials during health care facility expansion/renovation.
Minimum four-year undergraduate degree in health care sciences or business development/marketing/sales. Ideal candidate will have direct sales experience with institutions in large health care networks, as well as smaller community-based hospitals and long-term facilities. Individual must have knowledge of institutional health care organizational structure, with a strong network of healthcare contacts being essential.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Flexibility in scheduling and traveling are essential. The successful candidate must possess an entrepreneurial initiative and be driven to be a key player in the expansion of the EI Group’s occupational health, safety, and industrial hygiene consulting to health care. Historical experience with a CRM associated is necessary to perform the duties in this position. The ability to communicate EI technical capabilities, as well as experience in developing cost proposals for delivery of these services to health care clients (with the assistance of Operations) is a must. The successful candidate may serve as EI’s representative in professional organizations and trade shows which target hospitals and health care institutions. Oversee the ongoing development of hospital and health care databases which target health care managers responsible for the various business functions presented in Section I above.
Salary and Benefits
Base salary commensurate with experience, which includes a quarterly sales incentive bonus. Sales bonus is based on a percentage of gross profit margin for project work secured through candidate’s business development efforts. Relocation package available under certain circumstances.
