EHS SALES PROFESSIONAL 

The EI Group (EI) is searching for an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Sales Professional with 5+ years of experience. The focus of the successful applicant’s efforts will be to promote The EI Group’s consulting/training expertise in manufacturing, commercial and health care settings.  This position requires an entrepreneurial initiative and long-term focus to continue the nationwide expansion of The EI Group.  Particular focus will be placed on growing regional clients into national clients. 

The EI Group Consulting/Training Services 

  • Industrial Hygiene Services – Employee exposure monitoring and mitigation, noise and airborne contaminant monitoring, and the design of industrial ventilation and other control systems, management of hazardous material abatement; asbestos and lead-based paint inspections, indoor air quality evaluations including exposure to specialty contaminants such as mercury, anthrax and Chinese drywall contaminants.  These service offerings are supported by a full complement of asbestos, lead-based paint and IAQ accreditation training course offerings at the State and Federal level. 
  • Safety Compliance & Training – Safety & health program development and audits incorporating US and international best practices (OSHA VPP, OSHAS 18001, AD EHSMS, etc.), industrial facility compliance audits, Lockout/Tagout procedures, Arc Flash risk assessments,  construction safety oversight and compliance inspections for a broad range of commercial and industrial facility renovations and new construction.  A broad range of OSHA mandated training course offerings for compliance under 29 CFR 1910 (industrial) and 29 CFR 1926 (construction).  
  • Occupational Health Consulting Respirator fit testing and medical clearance for respirator use, audiometric and spirometric testing, occupational health support services/outsourced occupational health nurse placement, COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Testing and medical screening for workplace entry, and OSHA mandated occupational health training in pulmonary function and audiometric technician training, hearing conservation and respirator fit instruction and bloodborne pathogen compliance training, to name a few. 
  • Energy, Environment & Engineering – Phase I and II environmental site assessments, soil and ground water assessment/remediation, industrial permitting and compliance in the areas of air, water, and hazardous waste management, energy assessments, green building assistance, LEED® consulting and property condition assessments.  

Qualification Requirements:
Ideal candidate will have direct EHS sales experience to manufacturing, healthcare and commercial entities .  5+ years experience preferred.  They ideal candidate will have an existing network of contacts and be highly organized and self motivated. 

Other Skills and Abilities:
Flexibility in scheduling and traveling are essential. The successful candidate must possess an entrepreneurial initiative and be driven to be a key player in the expansion of The EI Group’s EHS expertise on a national level.   Working knowledge of a CRM is necessary to perform the duties in this position. The ability to communicate EI technical capabilities, as well as experience in developing cost proposals for delivery of these services with the assistance of Operations is a must. 

Salary and Benefits:
Base salary commensurate with experience, which includes annual sales incentive bonus. Sales bonus is based on a percentage of gross profit margin for project work secured through candidate’s business development efforts.
