Summary

EI’s Advanced OSHA training course is the next step in acquiring the tools you need to climb the safety ladder or to feel confident in your recommendations.

You’ll learn, through 2 ½ days of photo-filled lecture and interactive participation, how to use OSHA standards to find exactly what you’re looking for. We will teach participants how to navigate the OSHA Website as well as how to locate supporting documentation such as letters of interpretation, directives and memoranda. You’ll learn how to keep up with the never-ending changes in workplace safety and OSHA policy. You will also learn about consensus standards and laws that don’t even appear in the OSHA general industry standards.

In addition to the course manual, participants will receive the current edition of the 29 CFR 1910 General Industry standard in both hard copy and CD, which can be downloaded to their computers or handheld devices.
