Asbestos Supervisor Initial (40-Hour)
Summary
This 40-hour course provides the student with the training to perform competent person responsibilities during Class I asbestos abatement projects. Students will be trained in the proper removal, enclosure, and encapsulation of asbestos containing materials. Hands-on work practices, such as building containment and glovebag procedures, shall be exercised. This class will be especially beneficial for contractors, air monitors, and consultants. The class is mandatory in NC for those who wish to perform asbestos air monitoring and / or supervision of asbestos abatement projects
