ASBESTOS INSPECTOR REFRESHER (4-HOUR) VIRTUAL
This Online/Virtual Asbestos Building Inspector Refresher course fulfills the annual renewal requirements to maintain your asbestos inspection certification. Refresh the professional skills you need to succeed in the identification of suspect asbestos containing materials and building materials as well as the collection of bulk samples for laboratory analysis. Up to date information regarding regulatory and legislative changes will also be discussed. Students are encouraged to participate actively in the classroom discussions and bring their knowledge and experiences into the class learning activities.
As an ongoing minimum requirement for the identification and collection of suspect asbestos containing materials and building materials, the refresher asbestos building inspector certificate is the ideal solution for anyone looking to continue their career in the asbestos consulting industry. This course will refresh the student on inspection activities in all areas of public, commercial, private, industrial, educational, governmental, and residential buildings/sites and review how to properly identify and collect bulk samples of asbestos containing building materials (ACBMs) and asbestos containing materials (ACMs). With this certification, the student will be in compliance with the annual renewal requirements of the asbestos building inspector certification.
Hours: 4 Hours
Prerequisites: 24 Hour Inspector Initial Training.
NOTE: Participants must provide a copy of their initial course certificate and most recent applicable refresher training certificate no later than one (1) day prior to the class. Students who do not provide a certificate with a date that is less than one (1) year past the expiration date shown on their certificate, shall NOT be admitted to class.
