This session will focus on SPCC Plans as required by the federal 40 CFR 112 rules.  The presentation will provide practical guidance ascertained through decades of experience developing SPCC Plans, plan updates, and providing related training and consulting, to include the following:

  • – Plan elements,
  • – Examples of things done well,
  • – Examples of things done not so well,
  • – Common violations, and
  • – Concepts applicable to materials other than oil.

 

About the Presenter

Mark Cramer, PE
Mr. Cramer is a Senior Engineer in the Environmental Services group at EI. With more than 25 years of professional experience in the environmental consulting and engineering field, Mr. Cramer is a versatile environmental compliance specialist and effective project manager. The EI Environmental Service group provides the industrial, utility and banking sectors with expertise in industrial environmental permitting and compliance, soil and groundwater contamination assessments and remediation, environmental and engineering due diligence, and energy efficiency studies.

Mr Cramer’s specific areas of competence include air permitting, emissions inventories, air pollution control evaluations and engineering, wastewater treatability studies, waste minimization, soil and groundwater investigations and remediation, underground storage tank (UST) management and remediation, compliance audits and planning, regulatory review and interpretation, agency negotiations, Emergency Planning and Community Right to know Act (EPCRA) reporting (Tier II and TRI), stormwater permitting, development of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), and development of Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans.
